RIBBON BUNNY By Tammy Payne FINISHED SIZE: About 13" tall. MATERIALS: * Bunny head and paws #6908 by FibreCrafto~ * 9" x 3'/n" StryofoamO cone * 5 yds. of 25/s"-wide wire edged ribbon * Brass Bow #1055 charm by Creative Beginnings * Small wicker basket * Spray paint (to paint basket if desired ) * 22 small silk flowers * Pins * Glue gun and glue sticks * 2 wooden floral picks or similar material to mount arms INSTRUCTIONS 1: Glue the bunny head to the top of the cone. 2: For the Skirt, cut eight 121/z" strips of ribbon. Experimenting with the placement and using the pins to hold the strips in place as you go, overlap the edges of the ribbon to cover the bunny neck and the cone entirely. When you are satisfied with the placement, glue the strips one at a time to the cone removing the pin as you glue each strip. 4: Curl the bottom edge of the ribbon up to lay even with the bottom of the cone. 5: For Sleeves, cut two 9" pieces of the ribbon. Gather one edge by holding both ends of the wire firmly and pushing the fabric to the middle of the wire. Place the ribbon around one of the paws to measure for length and twist the ends of the wire together. Distribute the ribbon evenly around the paw and glue the two ends right sides together. Gather the open end of the Sleeve and glue in place. Glue one of the wooden floral picks into the hole of each paw. 6: Mount the paws to the body by carefully pushing the wooden floral picks into the styrofoam cone on each side about 2'/z" below the neck. 7: For the Collar, cut a 10" length of the ribbon and fold it in half lengthwise. Wrap it around the neck to hide the bottom edge of the head and the tops of the ribbon Skirt. Tie the ribbon in back to look like streamers. 8: Tie the remainder of the ribbon into a 4"-wide bow, leaving ends for streamers. Cut a notch in the end of each streamer. Glue the bow to the front of the Collar. 9: Glue the charm to the bow. 10: Glue a flower above each curl around the edge of the dress. 11: Glue three flowers to the bunny's head just below the ear. 12: If desired, paint the basket and let dry. Arrange the remaining flowers in the basket and glue them in place. Glue the basket to the paw of the Bunny. *
